Chapel Green is a Complex Needs School for pupils with moderate, severe, and profound learning difficulties between the ages of 3 and 19. All pupils have multiple and complex needs. All pupils have a significant learning need.
Chapel Green School is a supportive, challenging, and happy learning environment, where all individuals are respected and encouraged to reach their full potential in learning and independence, illustrated by the school ethos of “Challenge, Grow, Shine”.
We are looking for a confident and creative individual who enjoys being with children/young people and works constructively as part of a team. They will need to have enthusiasm and energy, be creative and flexible and be self-reflective and organised. They will need to be able to plan the learning of pupils with a wide range of needs using a fully differentiated approach.
Applications are welcomed from teachers with experience in special education from mainstream and or special schools. Our teachers have a thorough understanding of child development and learning, especially in the early years of a child’s development, so this position would suit a teacher from the primary sector.
As a teacher working at Chapel Green School, you will have access to a broad range of Continued Professional Development opportunities and will have the support and challenge from colleagues across the school. We offer a full induction and mentoring support package for new members of staff.
