Teacher - Communication and Interaction Needs Centre (High CoIN) job summary
Do you have a passion for inclusion and an interest in special needs? If so, we have an opportunity not to be missed! A position has become available in our High Needs Communication and Interaction Needs Centre (CoIN) known as Butterflies, which is part of Dovers Green School, Reigate.
This is a particularly exciting time for Butterflies, because we are about to move into a brand new, purpose built and designed setting for children with Special Educational Needs. It will provide the most amazing teaching and learning environment!
Experience in working with children with social communication needs, including those with a diagnosis of autism, would be desirable but not essential as training will be provided. What is more important is your passion for teaching children with special needs, your willingness to learn and being a team player.

- has knowledge of both EYFS and KS1 curriculums
- is committed to high educational standards which maximise the progress of all children
- is a reflective practitioner and willing to learn
- can confidently use ICT to enhance learning across the curriculum
- believes wholeheartedly in an inclusive ethos
- is willing to undertake training in order to meet the needs of those with complex needs
- has an ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences
- wants to work as part of a team sharing ideas
- has a good sense of humour
