Teacher job summary

Emneth Academy are looking for a full time Teacher to complement our talented, committed and happy staff team, recently rated OUTSTANDING by Ofsted in EYFS. Ideally, we are looking for a teacher with EYFS experience. This position is a 1 year temporary contract starting September 2024.

Our Academy is in a small village in a delightful rural setting. We are part of the Eastern Mat. We have over the last two years, consolidated our leadership and teaching team and enjoy the resulting consistency that brings. The children love coming to school and are very engaged, well supported by our parents in our close-knit, village community.

Emneth Academy’s recent Ofsted inspection has been rated as ‘Good’ in all areas with ‘Outstanding in Early years provision and we are proud of the very favourable report we have achieved.

Role Purpose

The successful candidate will ensure that your pupils achieve their full potential through the promotion of high-quality learning activities, skilled teaching and effective management of our dedicated and outstanding support staff team.

Skills & Experience

Applicants need to have:

A teaching qualification

Experience in working in a primary school in the UK, preferably in EYFS or Key Stage 1.
