Are you an exceptional Inclusive Teacher with a passion for English and the ambition to lead? Joseph Norton Academy is offering a unique and exciting opportunity to develop into an English Leader through a supported training pathway. This role is designed for a talented teacher who is ready to take the next step in their career. You'll join us as a dedicated SEMH Teacher, and over a structured period, we'll invest in your development to become our future English Leader. The Opportunity This innovative role combines the responsibilities of an excellent SEMH Teacher, who delivers a broad and balanced curriculum, with a clear trajectory towards leadership in English. You'll receive comprehensive support, including an internal traineeship focused on English leadership and the opportunity to complete the NPQLL (National Professional Qualification for Leading Literacy).

The Journey to English Leader: TLR Responsibilities

From your 2nd year, as you transition into the English Leader role, your responsibilities will expand to include the TLR job description attached. The TLR 2b payment for the English Leader role will become effective from your second year of post, recognising your growth and increased responsibilities as you transition into leadership.
