Teacher EYFS job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and dedicated Early Years teacher to join our team and play a key role in shaping the provision within our thriving Early Years Foundation Stage.

Our Early Years department is a large and vibrant setting consisting of five classrooms: one Nursery class, two Preschool classes and two Reception classes. This post will be integral to ensuring high‑quality teaching and learning, consistency across all phases, and a nurturing, ambitious environment where every child can thrive.

We are looking for a teacher who can model excellent practice, and collectively deliver an enriching and developmentally appropriate curriculum. You will work closely with staff, families and external agencies to drive strong outcomes and maintain a safe and stimulating environment.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has significant Early Years experience and a deep understanding of child development
  • Is committed to creating an inclusive, engaging and high-quality learning environment
  • Can inspire, and motivate those around them with high quality practice
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Is passionate about ensuring every child achieves their full potential
