Maternity Cover from September 2026, Full time.
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant and successful EYFS or KS1 provision as a maternity cover teacher. You will become part of a warm supportive and dedicated team of passionate teachers and skilled support staff who work collaboratively to inspire curiosity nurture individual strengths and foster a lifelong love of learning in every child.
In EYFS, we are committed to developing confident happy learners. Through purposeful play well planned adult led experiences and strong nurturing relationships children build secure foundations in communication and language early literacy and maths personal social and emotional development and physical development. Our rich and stimulating environment encourages independence exploration and genuine enjoyment of learning.
In KS1, pupils begin an engaging journey of growth and discovery. Our carefully designed curriculum supports children to develop strong foundations in English maths and a wide range of subjects while also promoting creativity resilience critical thinking and social and emotional skills. We believe learning should be enjoyable meaningful and inclusive and we strive to create a positive classroom culture where every child can thrive.

About You
To be a good fit for this role, you will:
- deliver high‑quality teaching grounded in a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and Key Stage 1 curriculum, ensuring learning is engaging, purposeful and developmentally appropriate.
- provide a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that supports children’s emotional wellbeing, encourages curiosity and enables all pupils to thrive.
- use assessment effectively to understand each child’s developmental stage, identify next steps in learning and adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND.
- work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to support smooth transitions, consistent practice and positive outcomes for every child.
