Teacher in Charge of SpLD Dyslexia Resource (ACE Unit) job summary
Trinity School in Newbury wishes to appoint an inspiring teacher with extensive knowledge and experience of Specific Learning Difficulties - Dyslexia to manage the West Berkshire local authority resourced provision for students with dyslexia. The post holder will have the operational lead within the unit, and will work successfully with mainstream staff to promote the achievement and wellbeing of the students based in the resource.

This role is not exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 or amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020. Shortlisted candidates will be subject to online checks, including the completion of a criminal records self-disclosure form. Successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks plus other employment checks.
This role has been identified as public facing in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act. The ability to fulfil all spoken/written aspects of the role with confidence in English is required.
