What skills and experience we're looking for

Cuckmere House School is a specialist provision for pupils aged 5 to 16 with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and autism spectrum conditions, all of whom have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). We are seeking a passionate, resilient and creative practitioner to lead the teaching of Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE), Citizenship and Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) across Key Stages 3 and 4.

You will plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons that are sensitive to the needs of our learners and play a central role in preparing pupils for adulthood and their next steps. We welcome applications from both qualified teachers and experienced instructors, and an additional allowance equivalent to TLR2a is available for the right candidate. Above all, you will share our nurturing, trauma-informed ethos and our commitment to the CARES values that underpin life at Cuckmere House: Courage and Compassion, Achievement and Accountability, Resilience and Respect, Effort and Engagement, and Safety and Support.
