What skills and experience we're looking for

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced construction professional to join our team. Our aim is to provide outstanding educational opportunities for our students, we are therefore expanding our curriculum to include a Construction qualification, WJEC – Construction in the built environment, as well as offering other vocational courses and experiences in construction. You will develop opportunities for students to work on a variety of practical tasks such as: brick laying, tiling, plastering and painting and decorating.

You may also be requested to support with the cultivation and care of the landscaping and grounds in the Horticulture / Construction Centre within the academy grounds, this may include running development projects with small groups of students.

We would welcome applications from Qualified and Unqualified teachers. If you have experience within the construction trade, a track record of quality teaching/coaching and are willing to undertake professional development to support with the delivery of the WJEC qualification then we would welcome a discussion / application.
