What skills and experience we're looking for
You will be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) who:
- Has a genuine passion for working with children and young people with SEND.

Newark Orchard School is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled teacher to join our dedicated team for two days per week.
Newark Orchard School is a thriving special school committed to providing outstanding education for children and young people aged 3-19 with a range of complex needs, including severe learning disabilities (SLD), profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), and autism spectrum disorders (ASD). We pride ourselves on our trauma-informed, relational approach to education, ensuring that every student feels safe, valued and empowered to achieve their potential.
Our school is more than just a place of learning; it is a community built on trust, collaboration and a shared vision of excellence. We align closely with principles of compassion, inclusion and high expectations, reflecting our core values in every aspect of school life.
