Teacher of ADT (Design Technology) job summary

Orchard School Bristol are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our growing Art, Digital and Technology (ADT) team from September. This role is full time and fixed term for a year. We are specifically seeking an outstanding teacher with a specialism in Design Technology and/or Art. You can find out about the subjects that ADT offers in the next section, below, and we would welcome people interested in teaching across the range, too.

Job Role:

  • To deliver a broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum to students of varying ages and abilities
  • To establish a positive learning experience which supports students to achieve their full academic potential
  • To monitor and support the progress and development of students
  • To raise standards of attainment and contribute to closing of gaps between groups of students
  • To share and support the delivery of students’ personal development and academic growth as teacher and tutor
