What the school offers its staff

Castle Donington College is an 11-16 school. We have around 700 pupils on role across five-year groups (Years 7 to 11). The College is situated on the north west edge of Leicestershire on the Leicestershire, Derbyshire, and Nottinghamshire border and within 30 minutes’ drive of Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Loughborough and Burton, being close to the M1 and A50.

In June 2024 we received an Ofsted rating of ‘Good’ and we are very proud of our community and the pupils we serve. Castle Donington College recently extended its age range and began teaching KS4 courses from September 2017 for first examinations in 2019. We currently have 564 students on roll in Years 7 to 11. The College is situated on the North West edge of Leicestershire on the Leicestershire, Derbyshire, and Nottinghamshire border. It has excellent links to these cities, being close to the M1 and A50.
