Teacher of Art and Design job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a teacher of Art and Design to join a large and well-resourced curriculum team. Art and Design is extremely popular at both GCSE and A Level, and we offer a wide range of art and DT subjects. Each subject area consists of at least 2 specialist rooms with a compliment of specialist resources as well as our own computer suite. The large curriculum team consists of experienced teachers and 3 technicians who will always offer help and guidance to make staff feel welcome and supported both within the team and the school.

We are looking for a driven and well-qualified (inclusive of ECT’s) teacher of Art and Design who, under the support and guidance of the Director of Design, Art and Technology, will assist with the development of Art and Design in the school. We welcome innovative and creative ideas and enjoy giving art teachers the autonomy to teach to their strengths whilst also contributing to their professional development. Applications are welcomed from ECT’s and those with a proven track record of success in the classroom.
