Job summary

Teacher of Art and/or Design Technology Full Time / Part-time  Salary – MPS/UPS Start Date – September 2021  We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and inspiring teacher of Art and/ or Design Technology on a full time or part-time basis.  Borden Grammar School is committed to providing students in Swale with every advantage that being a selective school can offer.  The Art department is successful in many ways. Examination performance in Art at GCSE is strong and consistently high. Art is an established choice for students undertaking their options in Year 9. A number of students continue to study either Art or Photography at Advanced level.  At GCSE the department offers GCSE Art and Product Design, and at Advanced Level the department offers Art, photography and 3D design.  In recent years students from our partner schools have also supplemented the numbers of our own students studying Advanced Level courses.  The Art rooms and DT workshops are a hive of activity throughout the school day.
