We are seeking an enthusiastic colleague to join our outstanding Art Department. A visit to the school showcases the incredible artwork produced by our students each year. The right applicant would need to be a specialist with the ability to teach art up to GCSE level (with A Level an advantage) and photography at both GCSE and A Level. You may be an NQT seeking your first role in a supportive school, or an experienced Teacher seeking a new role within an outstanding department. Essential educational requirements

• Qualified Teacher status with experience of Digital Photography and image editing;
• Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the National Curriculum ;
• Good knowledge of curriculum across at least two key stages in Art and Design.

Essential qualifications

• Qualified Teacher status with experience of Digital Photography and image editing.

Essential skills and experience

• Excellent classroom practitioner with success in teaching Art & Design and experience of Digital Photography;
• Ability to use Adobe Photoshop confidently;
• Ability to use video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro would be an advantage;
• Strong art and design skills and confidence in a wide range of 2-D and 3-D media;
• Evidence of creative and imaginative approaches to teaching;
• Able to use new technologies to enhance learning and achieve improvement;
• Able to maintain high professional standards;
• High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to manage students effectively;
• Ability to see tasks through to a successful conclusion;
• Good organisational and administrative skills;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Proven track record of exam success I/T.
