Ormiston Victory Academy is seeking to appoint an inspiring, innovative and dedicated Teacher/Instructor of Art & Design (with preferred specialism in Photography) to teach KS3 & KS4. The successful applicant will join a highly professional team working within a thriving; happy academy.

Ormiston Victory was graded “outstanding” by Ofsted in 2013 in every measure of its review - ‘The relentless focus on improving teaching has underpinned its rapid improvement and the outstanding achievement of its students’ (Ofsted 2013).

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who:

● Can teach GCSE Photography to Year 9 and Year 10 students
● Is able to teach Textiles to Key Stage 3 students
● Is able to work Monday, Tuesday and Friday
● Is dynamic, innovative, self-motivated and able to inspire others.
● Is committed to raising standards of attainment and developing the success of the department.
● Enjoys working as part of a team and demonstrates reflective practice through the high expectations they have of themselves and the students.

The Creative Studies department has a reputation for excellence reflecting the exciting quality of teaching and learning.
