Teacher of Art job summary

We are looking to appoint a teacher of Art/Textiles who will take responsibility for teaching Art and Art Textiles at KS3 and Art Textiles at KS4 and KS5.

At KS3, students study a module of textiles each year within the Art curriculum. Students can opt for Art Textiles at GCSE and A level. A willingness to plan and prepare good resources and to write appropriate schemes of work to share with the Art team is essential. You will be asked to prepare students in examination groups for GCSE and A level, providing the correct paperwork and processes as required by the exam boards. Art Textiles currently follows the Eduqas exam board.

Our students produce work of a very high standard across all media, and we are very proud of their achievements. We are looking for a highly knowledgeable teacher who has a passion for the subject and broad knowledge and experience of the current landscape of the Art, Design and Textiles field.
