Academy has been an active part of the village of Newport since its founding.
It is a rural school drawing pupils from more than 40 primary schools. The
village is close to the market town of Saffron Walden and with easy access to
Cambridge by car and train.

The Vacancy

This is an exciting
and challenging post where you will be required to teach Art up to Key Stage 5.
You will have the opportunity to work with like minded teachers within a
supportive team. 

You need to have
flair and passion for your subject and be able to inspire our young people to
achieve their ambitions. Art is a high profile subject area with a healthy
uptake at KS4 and 5, and a proven track record of results, therefore it is
essential that you are enthusiastic, hardworking and conscientious.

This role would
equally suit an experienced teacher, or an NQT who is looking for an excellent
start to their career. For the right candidate we are willing to offer
remuneration up to UPS 3.
