We have an excellent opportunity for an inspirational and enthusiastic Teacher of Art to join our friendly and forward-thinking team at Greater Peterborough UCT. We are proud to be Peterborough’s first STEM-specialist school, giving young people the chance to follow a unique academic and technical curriculum into higher education or the world of work.
This is an ideal position for an experienced teacher who wishes to develop their practice in a supportive and innovative environment.
The ideal candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status and degree in specialist subject
- Experience of teaching at KS3 to KS5
- Evidence of securing high outcomes from students
- Ability to use IT to support effective teaching and learning
- Commitment to continuing professional development
- Effective form tutoring and committed to the importance of pastoral support
- Understand and be a proud advocate of the five values of all Meridian Trust schools
- Believe that students make the best progress when teaching is well planned and well delivered
