We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and dedicated Art Teacher to join our team who will contribute to the development of the Art and DT faculty. The successful candidate will be expected to teach GCSE in a school that was recently inspected as a “good” school by Ofsted.

What you will do:

We teach students a wide range of practical skills and activities and the work of our Art Department is evident all over our school walls, where we celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students. You will deliver the curriculum, prepare teaching materials and ensure high standards of literacy and student progress. You will be expected to establish a safe and stimulating learning environment, manage classroom behaviour and promote student well-being.

King James Academy (Years 5-11), is a through school formed from the amalgamation of two middle schools and an upper school in 2019. Since 2020 it has been part of the Diamond Learning Partnership Trust. It is approximately 12 miles from Cambridge and is within easy access of London.
