Teacher of Art (Maternity Cover) job summary

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative teacher to join our Art & Photography Department from April 2026. This post is offered on a one year fixed term contract to cover the substantative post holder's maternity leave.

Working Pattern: 0.6 FTE (3 days a week). Please note: Working days for the remainder of the 25/26 academic year are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Specific days for the 26/27 academic year will be confirmed subject to timetabling.

The successful candidate will have the ability to teach KS3 to KS5 Art across all age and ability ranges with the focus on KS3 Art and Design. There will also be some KS3 Technology teaching. You will be an effective classroom teacher with the ability to raise the achievement of all students and be keen to play a full part in the life of the school.
