Your role:
In this role you will bring Art, Photography and Design Technology to life through creative, purposeful teaching that inspires students to explore, experiment and express themselves with confidence. You will deliver well‑planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to contribute to Key Stage 5, ensuring every learner is challenged, supported and inspired.
Your strong subject knowledge and commitment to high‑quality teaching will help students develop technical skill and creative independence. You will nurture ambition through high expectations, foster respect in a safe and inclusive studio environment, and model responsibility as you guide students to take ownership of their progress.
You will monitor and assess learning thoughtfully, work collaboratively with colleagues on curriculum enhancement, and contribute to a thriving department known for its energy, innovation and commitment to the arts. Your ability to build positive relationships, use ICT effectively, adapt to change and create engaging learning experiences will be key to your success.
