Springwood High School are looking to employ a teacher of Art as maternity cover, on a temporary basis from January 2020. There will also be an element of Design and Technology teaching in this role at Key Stage 3. We are searching for an inspiring and motivating candidate who will be a member of two vibrant departments. Qualified Teacher Status is desirable but not essential

Experience of teaching to GCSE
Experience of working in a team
Contribution to school beyond the classroom
An understanding of the use of data in promoting pupil achievement and attainment
Skills and knowledge to deal with student safety and behaviour
Setting high standards to staff and students by personal example
Ability to gain parental support and co-operation
An understanding of the ECM agenda
