We are looking to recruit an inspirational and passionate teacher of Art. A skilled subject specialist, enthusiastic and committed with the ability to deliver a range of Art and Design disciplines. The ability to teach Photography would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will work within a team of three specialist teachers, building, developing and maintaining effective teamwork within the curriculum area. The successful candidate will ensure their lessons are engaging to all learners, producing high quality exemplar materials and demonstrating a range of techniques and approaches, whilst promoting a sense of self-worth through imagination and creativity. The successful candidate will be open to teaching within a department across KS4 and KS5 in a variety of Art and Design disciplines.

The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute to the wider aspects of Sprowston Community Academy. The successful candidate will be committed to offering both opportunities within the curriculum and via extra- curricular activities that inspire and motivate students and enhance their passion for creativity and design.

Enthusiasm, flexibility and team working are essential, as are good organisational skills and high expectations of our learners.

Sprowston Community Academy is a growing 11-18 school serving the North-east of Norwich.
