Details

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Art. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for nurturing creativity, artistic expression, and visual communication in young people. You will play a pivotal role in developing students’ artistic skills, guiding them from initial concepts through to accomplished final pieces. The role is multifaceted, combining practical work with theoretical understanding, while fostering students’ creativity, critical thinking, and confidence in their artistic abilities.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring Art lessons that align with the National Curriculum and promote a broad range of artistic techniques and media.
  • Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, experimentation, and artistic development.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on the progress and attainment of students, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the department's growth by sharing best practices and innovative ideas.
