We are very proud of our Art and Design Department who also work closely with our Design Technology Department. Across the two departments, we currently have GCSE groups in fine art, photography, design technology and food and A Level groups of fine art, photography and food. The departments aim to provide students with a supportive environment to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence in art and design, including opportunities to:

  • Analyse and investigate the work of other artists and art forms from a range of different cultures, expressing their own thoughts and opinions and take influences from these when developing their own creative ideas
