We have an excellent opportunity for an inspirational and enthusiastic Teacher of Art to join our friendly and forward-thinking team at North Cambridge Academy. This is an ideal position for either an experienced or early careers teacher who wishes to develop their practice in a supportive and innovative environment. You will be instrumental in our mission to provide every student a great education and real choices in life, regardless of their background. As a passionate practitioner, you will deliver high-quality Art lessons that drive achievement and inspire a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom.
The ideal candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status and degree in specialist subject
- Experience of teaching at KS3 to KS4
- Evidence of securing high outcomes from students
- Ability to use IT to support effective teaching and learning
- Commitment to continuing professional development
- Effective form tutoring and committed to the importance of pastoral support
- Understand and be a proud advocate of the five values of all Meridian Trust schools
- Believe that students make the best progress when teaching is well planned and well delivered
