Insignis Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a Teacher of biology up to A-Level, with the ability to teach Biology at Key Stage 3. Your first initial placement (for at least the academic year 2026-27) will be at Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School located in Aylesbury Buckinghamshire and are an outstanding co-educational grammar school with outstanding provision for our young people. Our vision is to pioneer a grammar school education which equips the visionaries of tomorrow.
You will need to have a strong subject knowledge and be able to teach students of all abilities and ages. As well as this you will be highly organised with excellent communication and time management skills and will actively get involved with our ongoing efforts to become a fast-improving school.
Applicants will have the opportunity to work alongside outstanding practitioners in an environment which fosters high achievement and high standards. Insignis Academy Trust extensive CPD pathways and will support the right candidate in developing their leadership skills and career aspirations.
You may be required to work at premises occupied by the employer or any of the employer’s Academies, within a 25-mile radius, as directed by the employer.
