We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Business and Computing to join our fantastic team at CHS South.
This is a permanent, full time role on Teaching terms, the salary for this post is MPS-UPS

Main purpose of the job:
The post holder is required to fulfil the professional responsibilities common to all classroom teachers, as outlined in the current School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document.The post holder will meet the Professional Standards for Teachers appropriate to their career stage and exercise professional judgement in carrying out their duties collaboratively.The key purpose of the role is to secure high standards of teaching, learning and achievement in Business and Computing,ensuring that all students make strong progress and are supported to reach their full potential. The post holder is accountable to the Curriculum Leader, Senior Leader,and ultimately the Headteacher.

Key Responsibilities
- Promote the academic progress, well-being and positive behaviour of all students
- Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons across Business and Computing
- Contribute to the development of an ambitious Business and Computing curriculum
- Assess, monitor and report on progress, implementing timely interventions
- Work collaboratively within the Business and Computing team to support the school’s vision
- Reflect on and improve practice through professional development and shared expertise
- Support curriculum development, examinations and school improvement priorities
- Participate in meetings, duties and enrichment activities as required
- Build positive relationships with students, parents/carers and external partners

CHS South
CHS South is a 11-16 eight-form entry, mixed, comprehensive school opened in conjunction with Chorlton High School in 2018. Our school provides a full capacity of 1200 in our brand-new building which opened in September 2021.

We ensure the young people at CHS South have access to a broad and forward-thinking enrichment curriculum.
