Teacher of Business and Economics (permanent, full-time) to start September 2022 job summary

The role: Business Studies and Economics is taught at GCSE and A-Level by a team of staff who are passionate about their subjects and who support one another by sharing resources, strategies and responsibilities to ensure the continued smooth running of the department. The School follows the EDUQAS specification for Business at both GCSE and A-Level. For Economics, GCSE will be taught to the OCR course specification and A-Level to the Edexcel specification. The department are proud that year on year they attract a large number of students to study their subjects and this is due to a reputation of engaging and enthusiastic teachers with high expectations and standards. About you: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, hard working colleague to contribute to the Business Studies and Economics department at STRS. This permanent, full-time post is equally well-suited to an enthusiastic ECT with a thirst for learning and developing in their chosen career or a more experienced teacher looking for opportunity. They should be willing to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the School.
