What skills and experience we're looking for

For September 2025 we wish to appoint a teacher of Business and/or IT to join a highly successful department. We are looking for a talented classroom practitioner who can be creative, dynamic and can communicate their passion to all students, as well as teach using a student-centred approach. All classes are mixed ability, so the successful candidate will need to be secure in adaptive teaching to both support and stretch students. We are looking to appoint a team player who can communicate an enthusiasm and depth of subject knowledge, forming positive relationships with the students they teach. The successful candidate will work alongside other experienced teachers and therefore this post would be suitable for ECTs as well as more experienced teachers.

We are looking to appoint a part-time or full-time teacher who has the ability and enthusiasm to contribute to the delivery of Business and/or IT at KS4 and KS5. The final balance of Business and/or IT teaching will take into account the successful candidate’s preference, past experience and curriculum strengths.

Strong subject knowledge is obviously crucial but a commitment to the school’s philosophy, a passion for the subject and a desire to work in an innovative and supportive team are also vital. Please make it clear in your application if you wish to be considered for a part-time or full-time role and your preferred subject specialism.
