What skills and experience we're looking for

Thornden School are seeking an outstanding individual to join our successful Business Department as a Teacher of Business at KS4 with some KS3 ICT teaching (please detail any other subject areas you are qualified in). About the role:

  • To teach Business at KS4 with some KS3 ICT to an outstanding standard
  • To assist in raising and maintaining standards of student attainment and achievement in the department.
  • To promote learning and to monitor, support and be accountable for student progress in Business.
  • To ensure consistently high levels of professionalism are maintained.
  • To promote the school’s belief in creating a safe environment for students through robust safeguarding practices and maintaining an environment where students feel confident to approach any member of staff with a concern.
