Long Road Sixth Form College is a dynamic, inclusive, state coeducational sixth form college of 2800 students located in Cambridge, offering a vibrant and supportive environment for learners aged 16-19. Situated next to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, the College provides a broad curriculum, offering A levels, Applied Level 3 and Level 2 Diplomas, and GCSE programmes within a vibrant learning environment. Long Road was judged by OFSTED to be Good or Outstanding in all five categories at its most recent inspection in February 2025. The report highlights the college as a welcoming, inclusive, and high-achieving environment where students thrive. Inspectors praised students for their exemplary behaviour, respect for one another, and mature approach to learning. They also commended our dedicated and expert teaching staff, whose high-quality instruction ensures that students achieve excellent academic results.

You will be a dynamic and dedicated Business specialist, with the ability to teach on our Business Studies A-Level & Level 3 Applied Business courses, as well as consistently providing high quality lessons and promoting a positive and professional example to both staff and students. You will be highly motivated and we will absolutely encourage you to develop innovative and supportive approaches to inspire our students to achieve their maximum potential. We value working as a team to collectively plan and resource but also focus on teacher agency within the classroom.
