Salary: £31,350 - £47,839 per annum

We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiasticTeacher of Business Studiesto join our thriving department. This role is also suitable for an ECT. The Business department sits at the heart of a very successful Business & IT faculty, which comprises Business GCSE, Business BTEC, Media, IT, Economics & Computer Science. The subjects & qualifications listed are all extremely popular with our students and the successful candidate would be joining a very supportive team headed up by an experienced head of faculty. This candidate will be teaching across Key stages 4 & 5. However, we are always open to teachers in this faculty teaching at KS3 in other departments, if they so wish.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have the vision to fully develop and support the already thriving Business, Economics, Computing and Media team.
  • Ideally be able to offer a second subject within the faculty. For example, economics.
  • Be an inspirational communicator and have the skills to both challenge and encourage students to achieve their potential.
  • Be committed to securing positive student outcomes at Key stage 3, 4 and 5.
  • Have the ability to think creatively and encourage student engagement.
