Full-time Teacher of Business Studies & Information Computing Technology
Starting Date: 1 January 2020 (MPS/UPS)

The successful candidate will be able to teach Business & ICT across the key stages.
The subjects are popular in KS5 and contribute well to examination performance. In KS4 Business has recently been introduced to the curriculum and is proving an attractive option amongst students. At KS5 the Certificate of Financial Studies adds to our curriculum offer, is popular and contributes well to examination success.
Within KS3 the Business & Enterprise scheme is embedded into the school’s calendar and enriches the curriculum experience of all. ICT has proved to be very successful at both KS4 & KS5 and we are eager to formalise our teaching of computing alongside this. Consequently, Computing GCSE is being introduced in KS4 in Year 10.
This is a post for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic teacher. The school is open to employing either an experienced colleague or someone new entering the profession. However you will be committed to achieving high standards in all areas of school life and can show the potential to contribute a great deal to the future development of the subject at Borden Grammar School.
