What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Business Studies and IT. The successful candidate will join an outstanding and growing Mathematics, Computing, Business and Economics curriculum area. The position involves an equal split in terms of teaching across both Business and IT/Computing. Currently, Business GCSE is one of the most popular option choices at Key Stage 4 and the department also runs a BTEC Business course at Level 3. Computer Science is taught to all pupils at Key Stage 3 and the department runs a Level 2 Cambridge National award for pupils at Level 2 (KS4) and a BTEC for pupils at Key Stage 5. An ability to teach both subjects to a Level 2 standard, and at least one to Level 3, is a requirement of this role.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to join a truly innovative and successful academy.
