Ousedale School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Business & Economics to join our ambitious and forward-thinking department. The successful candidate will teach Business and Economics delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire students to develop a strong understanding of enterprise, finance, and the wider economic world.

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed practitioner who is passionate about fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and academic achievement. We are looking for a teacher who can motivate and challenge students of all abilities while contributing positively to a collaborative and supportive team environment. Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver high‑quality teaching and learning in Business Studies across relevant key stages
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum and academy expectations
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment
  • Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and professional standards in line with academy policies

Pay range: M1 - M6 - £32,916.00 - £45,351

Full Time, Permanent.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS
  • Degree in Business, Economics, or a related subject
  • Strong subject knowledge in Business and core IT concepts
  • Ability to plan engaging, well‑structured lessons that meet diverse learning needs
  • Flexible, proactive, and committed to continuous professional development
