What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic and well qualified teacher of Business Studies, who has a commitment to developing good teaching and learning practices, leading to excellent student progress. The ability to teach Economics would be desirable, but not essential.

This would be an attractive opportunity for a new entrant to the profession, although equally attractive to a more experienced colleague. We have a positive commitment to supporting Newly Qualified teachers and a comprehensive staff development programme.

Business Studies is extremely popular in KS4 and in our outstanding Sixth Form. In partnership with the Peter Jones Foundation, the school launched an International Enterprise Academy in September 2021. This position provides an opportunity to contribute to this exciting initiative. This is an exciting time to join an experienced team who have real ambition for these subjects.

The department teaches a wide range of Business courses, including GCSE, A Level and International Baccalaureate Standard level.
