The successful candidate will be passionate about promoting the teaching and learning of computing and have the capacity to deliver great teaching, ensuring that students achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will be:

An enthusiastic Computer Scientist, able to ignite interest in computing from students and colleagues;

Committed to ensuring that all students reach their potential regardless of prior attainment;

Capable of promoting partnerships and collaborative working in our school, across the Abingdon Learning Trust and in the wider computing teaching community.

A role model for our students and staff;

Effective in setting and attaining high standards of student progress;

Active in working to develop their own teaching practice.

In return, we will offer you:

The support and satisfaction of being part of a small and highly motivated computer team, under the wider Science and Computing faculty.

A commitment to the support and professional development of our team members

Excellent care and support for all staff.

The opportunity to work in a rapidly improving school with the chance to make a significant difference to the future of our young people.
