What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher of L3 Computing and, L2/3 Information Technology and T level Digital Support and Services to join an excellent and forward-thinking Business, Law and Digital team. We have an exciting and vibrant and inclusive curriculum offering students pathways in IT and Digital from L2 to L3 across BTEC, AAQs and T level qualifications. This academic year saw the successful launch of a new suite of IT classrooms with industry standard equipment including Drones and AI technologies.
We are looking for someone who:
- is an inspirational teacher with a strong occupational/academic background
- has a background in programming and teaching various languages
- has the ambition to develop their career through ContinuingProfessional Development such as working with industry experts
- can work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the success of the department and the sixth form on our journey to ‘Outstanding’
- can use their expertise and industry experience to deliver a high-quality curriculum
- can develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours of our learners in readiness for their next steps into higher education, training and employment
- has a proven track record of achieving good or outstanding results, though we also welcome applications from ECTs
