What skills and experience we're looking for

Required from 1st September 2024 (ECTs Welcomed)

The Chase is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to teach computing throughout KS3, KS4 and possibly KS5.

We would welcome applications from anyone with strengths in Computer Science/Media or vocational qualifications in Media, as there maybe opportunities for KS4 and KS5 teaching in these areas.

You will be joining a very successful and supportive team. Both KS4 and KS5 examination results are significantly above national expectations in terms of both progress and attainment. Computer Science is a very popular subject at GCSE and A Level.

This is a key position at The Chase, and we are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • A proven track record in the classroom across the Key Stages
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels
  • Resourcefulness and an innovative approach
  • The ability to lead by example
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
