Qualifications

Essential

  • Computing Degree or other suitable degree.
  • PGCE Secondary qualification.

Desirable

  • Ability to teach to A-level Computing.
  • Ability to deliver PSHCE lessons.

Experience

Essential

  • Experience of teaching Computing at all levels.

Knowledge & Skills

Essential

  • A current knowledge of Computing initiatives and development.
  • Good classroom management and discipline skills.
  • An ability to teach successfully across the age and ability range.

Desirable

  • To offer extra support to students (revision sessions, intervention support etc).
  • To attend relevant courses and feedback to the department.

Personal Competencies

  • To deliver interesting and stimulating lessons.
  • Well organised and planned.
  • To be personable, positive and approachable.
