About the role: Milestone Academy are seeking to appoint a talented and motivated Teacher of Construction to join us in Term 3 (January 2022). Our successful candidate will offer the very best teaching and learning to our pupils and ensure they achieve the excellent outcomes they deserve. This unique opportunity would allow you to lead the curriculum delivering BTEC and Ascentis qualifications to very small groups of students aged 14-19. We are looking for an experienced practitioner with the passion, knowledge and skills to deliver Entry Level 2 - Level 1 qualifications to young people with a range of special educational needs including Autism. You will need to have enthusiasm and patience to personalise learning and have the communication skills needed to collaborate with a range of stakeholders including awarding body reviewers. We have an impressive Horticulture area including polytunnels and raised beds and have a consistent pass rate of 100% for these courses due to the excellent curriculum already in place.

This role is offered on a part time basis of 3 days a week.
