About the role: Milestone Academy are seeking to appoint a talented and motivated Teacher of Construction to join us in Term 3 (January 2022). This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a consistently Outstanding SEN academy! ​​​​​​​ This unique opportunity would allow you to lead the curriculum delivering BTEC and Ascentis qualifications to very small groups of students aged 14-19. We are looking for an experienced practitioner with the passion, knowledge and skills to deliver Entry Level 2 - Level 1 qualifications to young people with a range of special educational needs including Autism. You will need to have enthusiasm and patience to personalise learning and have the communication skills needed to collaborate with a range of stakeholders including awarding body reviewers. We have an impressive Horticulture area including polytunnels and raised beds and have a consistent pass rate of 100% for these courses due to the excellent curriculum already in place. This role is offered on a part time basis of 3 days a week.
