Acland Burghley School is seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Dance fromSeptember 2024, to join our friendly and successful Creative Arts team.
This is an excellent career opportunity for a strong teacher to work in a thriving citycomprehensive which has inclusion at its core. You would be joining at an exciting moment for the school. Our campaign to transform our grade 2 listed assembly hall into a versatile modern performance space is well underway. Our unique partnership with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, who have their offices and rehearsals on our site, places Creative Arts at the centre of our curriculum vision.
Dance is a popular subject at Acland Burghley School. You would be joining a teamthat is effective and well led. We are looking for a well-qualified Dance specialist who is keen to play a major part in leading school performances, and who has an interest in taking our extra-curricular offer to the next level.
The successful candidate will be passionate about learning in the Creative Arts, and willdemonstrate a strong commitment to ensuring that every child achieves the highest possible standards. Extra-curricular activities, including clubs, and trips to performances, are an important part of the offer.
Situated close to Hampstead Heath in the heart of North London, Acland Burghley is amixed, inclusive, community comprehensive school that enjoys high levels of parental support and a close collaborative relationship with other local schools.
