The Romsey School is seeking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Design & Technology from September 2023. Design and Technology is a highly successful and popular department that consistently enjoys exceptional examination results with 44% of pupils achieving grade 7-9 and 75% of pupil achieving Grade 4+ in 2022. We are proud to offer our students a rich, diverse and relevant curriculum that empowers our pupil to be confident, independent and creative thinkers.

The successful candidate will:

• Be able to teach across the age and attainment range at both Key Stage 3 and GCSE Technology (Resistant Materials);
• Have the ability to also teach Systems & Controls and Timbers would be an advantage
• Be creative, inspiring and passionate about teaching and learning;
• Be an exceptional classroom practitioner, delivering lessons that engage, challenge, motivate and inspire our students to achieve
• Work collaboratively with all members of the Romsey School community;
• Be enthusiastic about their own professional development and growth in areas including subject knowledge and teaching methods.
