Teacher of Design and Technology - Engineering Specialist job summary

Helston Community College, part of the Southerly Point Co-operative Multi-Academy Trust, are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and committed Design and Technology teacher, specialising in Engineering, to thrive in our supportive environment from September 2020. Design and Technology is taught through a broad variety of projects and materials in KS3. This is continued into KS4 and Post-16 through GCSE and A-Level courses. In September 2019, we moved to our new building which has brand new suite of well-equipped Technology, Engineering and CAD/CAM workshops. We are looking for an inspirational teacher, who goes the extra mile, will encourage students of all abilities to succeed and will be committed to raising standards of attainment in Technology. You will make a significant contribution to the quality of teaching and learning within the Faculty, and you will have the opportunity to teach across the full age and ability range at KS3, KS4 and Post 16. A TLR allowance may be available for the right applicant. Both NQTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
