- be an excellent classroom teacher of design and technology, able to teach throughout the age and ability range
- be passionate about design and technology, and be able to inspire a similar enthusiasm in our students
- be committed to raising the attainment of all students, particularly those who are disadvantaged
- demonstrate excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills

The Minster School is an Ofsted rated outstanding school, serving the local community of Southwell and surrounding villages. The school currently has 1600 students on roll including 350 students in the sixth form and 40 students in the junior department. We are oversubscribed and are regularly in the top schools in Nottinghamshire for achievement and attainment.
Alongside serving our own students, we are the home of East Midlands East Maths Hub, a strategic partner of the Redhill Teaching Hub and a member of the Minster Teaching Alliance. The Minster School is the foundation school in the Minster Trust for Education (MITRE), a multi academy trust.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious and creative teacher of Design and Technology. They will join a highly successful school, with an expectation to strive for excellence at every opportunity and a commitment to sharing best practice with others.
