What skills and experience we're looking for
We seek to appoint a passionate, dedicated and highly motivated Teacher of Design Technology with the skills and experience to deliver successful outcomes both at KS3 and KS4. Our Design Technology team is led by a visionary Head of Department, occupies a suite of specialist classrooms on the ground floor of our modern school and has the support of a full-time Technician. The close-knit team deliver a wide range of subjects up to KS4 including Design Technology, Engineering, Hospitality & Catering, and Textiles. All of these subjects are very popular with the students at options time which is a testament to the skills of the team and we are always open to the prospect of expanding this range of courses. All teachers are expected to deliver a range of courses within the department, so we welcome applications from any candidate with Design Technology qualifications, particularly those with a Food specialism.
