Teacher of Design & Technology job summary
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Teacher of Design & Technology who is dynamic, creative and ambitious to join our dedicated team of teachers and staff.
The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching Technology and the ability to teach a range of subjects within the department, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspires and enables learners to reach their individual potential.
Job overview
You’ll be delivering core aspects of the Design & Technology curriculum, leading and implementing outstanding teaching practices to instil key knowledge within learners and using assessment and feedback to sustain and raise achievement.
The right candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Relevant specialist qualifications and experience (e.g BSc in Design & Technology or related degree)
- Ability to deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons covering a range of modules and concepts
- A good understanding of curriculum and assessment requirements for Design & Technology
- Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning to ensure all learners progress and achieve to a high standard in preparation for examinations
