Teacher of DT: Food Technology- with Recruitment and Retention payment job summary

We are looking for an excellent Teacher of Food Technology to work with the Head of Art and contribute towards its existing strengths and successes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, nutrition, hospitality and catering and the ability to teach practical lessons in Food Studies, providing a creative, safe and exciting atmosphere for students to maintain excellent and ambitious outcomes.


The successful candidate will uphold Wolgarston's 100% ethos, have the ability to deliver high quality teaching that drives achievement and inspires a love of learning. You will be able to demonstrate experience of achieving positive outcomes for pupils, as well as being passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people. This is a permanent role starting September 2024, we welcome applications from candidates looking for full time or part time hours offering Main Pay/Upper Pay Scale commensurate with experience + We understand the importance of attracting and retaining top talent, which is why we're offering an recruitment and retention package worth £4000 on top of your annual salary. This includes a payment of £1500 on your start date, with an additional payment of £1500 on the 1st anniversary of your start date and £1000 on the 2nd anniversary.
